WHAT IS IT?
Differently from most self-serving online platforms out there, CopyPress is a lot more hands on. From one end they have writers, editors, designers and developers that get certified by them to be able to work on client’s projects. From the other site they have Project Managers to work with clients and connect them to the best fit professional that suite their needs.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Clients: You fill out a form to let them know what you need. There is also the option to call a phone number. With that done they will get back to you to ask more details or they will provide an estimate in case they have enough information. Once you approve, the job gets started.
Creatives/Writers: First you become part of their community. This is free and you just need to register. Then you go through their guidelines and take a test/assignment to get certified and this will allow you to be considered for paid assignments. It seems that you only deal with project managers, not the client directly.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Due to the more hands on nature of their work, their services will be more expensive than the hands off types of marketplaces out there. There is no pricing anywhere to be found on the site and that is most likely due to the custom unique type of work they do. They provide quotes, not prepackaged pricing.
