WHAT IS IT?

PeoplePerHour.com is a freelancing website that specializes in helping clients post jobs for freelancers to bid on.

PeoplePerHour

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Clients: To become a client on PPH is free. No extra fees, no hidden costs (apart from transfer fees to pay for the job, that is). Once registered, the client can browse through lists of freelancer and find one that suits their requirements, or post a job and let the freelancers come to them. After they’ve received enough bids on their job, they can choose the one that best suits them, according to price, expertise, and/or estimated completion time. Once accepted, they fund PPH’s escrow, and await results from the freelancer. Once the job is done, the client releases the funds.

Freelancers: There’s no cost for freelancers to register on PeoplePerHour (PPH). Once registered, the freelancer is free to create a profile, and fill it with their previous work, expertise, and even a 30-second video for potential clients to view. Each freelancer is allotted 15 “bid” credits per month, however they can buy more if they feel the need to. Once a client has accepted the proposal, the fees are deposited into the PPH escrow account and the work can begin. Once the work is completed, the fees are released to the freelancer, and can be withdrawn into their PayPal or Payoneer cards. The fees for freelance jobs are 15% per month. However after £375, €515, or $565 has been earned in that month, then it drops to 5%.

WHO IS IT FOR?

PPH is for clients who want minimal service fees, fast response time, and quality freelancers. For freelancers, the site is perfect for those that earn a high monthly amount from clients, as once the threshold is reached, the service fee drops 10%.
