WHAT IS IT?

Project4Hire.com is a freelancing website that connects clients with freelancers, and acts as an escrow service to mediate between both.

Project4Hire

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Clients: Registering as a client is free, and there are no monthly fees. The client posts bids on the website, and waits for prospective freelancers to bid on the job. Once the client finds the right one, he/she can accept the bid and (optionally, for a $10 fee) send the money to Project4Hire.com to hold in escrow. Once the job has been completed, the client releases the funds to the freelancer.

Freelancers: There are two membership types available for freelancers; Free and Premium. The free membership is (as stated in the name) free to use. However, freelancers are limited by this profile as they’re allowed to bid on any projects posted, but will not be able to add a custom message to the bid, or send messages to the clients on their project pages. Over and above that, there is a $5 fee for all jobs that are accepted by the client. Alternatively, the premium membership costs $10/month, and allows all of the aforementioned banned activities. Once the job has been completed, the funds are released to the freelancer, who can then withdraw them.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This website is ideally for freelancer and clients that have high-cost jobs that they need done, as there are no percentage-based fees on the jobs, only flat-costs.
