WHAT IS IT?

Workhoppers.com serves as an online database of freelancers, rather than a freelance job website. The focus of the website is connecting freelancers with clients, instead of getting the jobs completed

Workhoppers

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Clients: Clients are charged a monthly fee, which varies depending on what services they’re wanting. The free profile allows the client to post one job, searching for one skill, with limited features. The $79 package offers 3 job postings, full contact with the freelancer, and more connectivity. The unlimited package (at $175/month) offers unlimited bids, alerts on potential matches, as well as full connectivity between freelancer and client. The client can either post a job online, stating work hour, and job requirements, or they can search through the database of freelancers, narrowing down their search criteria for a more efficient process. Once they have contacted the freelancer, they speak to the freelancer directly, and agree on payment, and how they wish to be paid (via wire transfer, PayPal, etc). No hidden costs after the monthly fee.

Freelancers: The website is ideal for freelancers who are looking for full-time work. Registering is free, and there are no hidden costs involved. Simply create a profile, add as much information (more information is recommended), past work experience, and skills to it, and the freelancer is ready to go. Then the freelancer can either wait for a potential employer to contact them, or browse the list of jobs posted online, as well as potential matches listed by Workhoppers.com.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This website is for clients that are looking for long-term employees that will be able to complete their jobs remotely. It’s for clients looking for employees that can work with them after the job is done, external from Workhoppers.com. This site is also for freelancers who are looking for permanent online work, through external payment avenues, rather than requiring payment via the website’s escrow.
